Im an Amazon Prime member so not a hater, even though lately plenty more reasons to not like the company.

Now the specifics, weaker range compared to other systems like the Orbi RBR750 as much as 25% shorter range which is pretty significant. The speed of the main router within 10 feet is about 100 Mbps slower and satellites around 150 Mbps slower so you can expect around 800 Mbps and 600 Mbps performance. Now compare that performance to the TP-LINK AX5700 which the routers can get up to 1.4Gbps performance and satellites well over 1Gbps so that's a huge step up over the Eero Pro. With those huge performance gaps why pay more for a system that is only half as good and yet more expensive. Not to mention the other systems usually have a 3rd unit for around the same price points, which enhances even more coverage.
For $280 when on sale the TP-Link AX5700 2 Pack is currently one of the best systems money can buy.

If you dont need bleeding edge performance and interested in more coverage the 3 pack of the AX3600.

yes.. wifi 6 is crazy fast if you have a device that supports it - I have the 2 router pro system and I can tell you everything is fast, whether wifi 5 or wifi 6

Only complaint would be paying extra for yearly subscription for security features -- https://eero.com/eero-secure
They seem to run specials like this one
Get 50% off eero Secure+ with promo code: OCT50
Advanced Security, Block Ads, Activity insights should be a given in a product that cost so much already

I see this also but not seeing the ones mentioned above listed
Save up to 30% on select eero mesh wifi systems. US Only. Sale ends Nov 7.

Heck no, these are overpriced for the performance they provide. You can get way better and faster systems for similar or less money.

The only benefit of this is the zig bee hub for home automation.
Can you mention a few systems that are way better and faster? I'm in the market.

I definitely recommend Netgear 753S. Costco usually have them for sale around $399. $100 more than this trash but it come with extra satellite. I have them less than 2 months now and not a single hiccup unlike this junk eero pro. I returned it after 2 days

Explain yourself so we all know why the performance is poor compared to others.

Have you tried them? Did you read a review? Do you just hate eero or Amazon?

Their ad blocking is atrocious. Such a poorly done feature. Shouldn't even be advertised.

It used to be much better. They switched providers (presumably to cut costs) and now it's useless.

Does the TP-Link or Netgear charge any security subscription fees like those eero?
