Stay away from Kaspersky. There might be security issues related to its user identification ties to the Russian secret services. The product also collects too much extremely personal data to be considered safe.

Checkpoint (a security vendor), removed Kaspersky from their product (https://community.checkpoint.com/...d-p/143731)

Historically speaking, some security-minded professionals feel that Kaspersky went too far helping out the FSB back in 2017 (https://www.latimes.com/business/...story.html

Debating between the Malwarebytes + VPN and the Kaspersky. Would really like a reliable and secure VPN for when I travel.

Pretty sure they don't, unless you ask MB customer service to do it. You can only have one license attached to an account at a time. So technically you could buy multiple, remember to hold onto them, then apply each one after one year has passed and your old one has expired.

Really a shame, that Malwarebytes doesn't offer the ability to do one device, for three years. I honestly don't have 3 devices to put this on.

I think you can add multiple to the account but not activate it until your old one has expired.

Yes you can add to your account and be ready to activate when your current one expires. I have 9 years sitting in my account at the moment from past deals.

Are you still able to use for the latest software version? I bought 2 Lifetime licenses from Amazon in 2015 and can't use with the latest version. I contact the company support, but can't activate or add to their subscription online. The old format had ID and Key, which not valid on the new version. I submitted 2 tickets on the matter and they closed on both tickets and don't provide any help on the matter. It seems the company just brush me away because not making $.

Bitdefender hands down. They partake in far more independent antivirus testing labs certifications and ace all of them. Malwarebytes only makes an occasional showing and is mediocre in their test results.

Check out AV Test, AV Comparatives, MRG Effitas, and/or SE Labs to see.

Curious about this as well before I try to dig up my lifetime Malwarebytes purchase.
