In for a couple. One 6-foot and also a 10-foot for $8.39. Never shopped @ Monoprice, so not sure if this is the usual, but hipping is free, too.

I like that these are plain, black, cables.

For longer runs or if its near interference yea. If the price is similar then get the 8k. If not then a good 4k cable will work as well.

This is a better then any Amazon deal currently as these are HDMI.org certified. A lot of the A cables don't carry certification and are pricier.

Monoprice was definitely the place for cables. Personally I had zero issues and bought many cables for music (XLR and many adapters).

While some users can be negative overall I like monoprice. Free shipping isn't always available but monoprice periodically gives free shipping without any low limit. Such as this time. Exploit it while u can but note that it's not always free shipping.

I stopped future proofing. My first lesson was hdmi ten years ago. I got a box of them. All garbage due to time and evolution. Right now my max is 4k 60hertz. Until I'm near upgrading tv for 8k.. I'm gonna sit this out. I don't plan PS5 or xbox series x which may use 4k 120 hertz? Even then the tv is maxed at 60 hertz. In short buy it if u use it now but don't buy it bc it's cheap and want to future proof. I bought 4k cables with monoprice I think $3 or so and served my needs.

I bought 4 diff cables on amazon hoping they are 2.1 true and none of them could run xbox series x at 120... at this point im trying monprice.

I would say there are a handful of companies now which are putting out certified. Glad to hear Monoprice now has certified versions. I checked a while ago, and the version at the time was not. I know Cable Matters has nice cables too but they arent certified.
