I have an original Google Home speaker (non-mini).

Does anyone know how a Nest Hub (2nd Gen) will compare purely in terms of audio quality to the Home speaker? The screen looks like a nice upgrade, but I don't want audio quality to suffer too much since we use it for that purpose extensively.
I have the 1st gen Mini and 1st gen hub non max. The hub is much better and fuller sounding.

Sadly he doesn't haven't anything from your set up, so not much helping him with that info.

Maybe could help others though if they're buying older gens

229 and 99 according to the crossed out pricing, though they're often on sale and cheaper than retail

Can I presume this device is listening in like Alexa does? Serious question. I don't have al lot of "tech knowledge", but I've seen many reports of Amazon employees listening in through the Alexa device.
If you have a cell phone, boy do I have news for you

Do you guys think it's gonna be cheaper at Black Friday / Cyber Monday?
I think Best Buy has a price guarantee but not sure about the others.

I think the 10" one would be useful in the kitchen for recipes. But I haven't found a way to push any webpage from my phone to the nest hub. Is there an easy way of doing that? I just want to view a webpage on the nest hub that I found on my android phone.

Got Gen 1 from Lowes for $40. Should I return it and buy Gen 2 instead for $10 more? What are the upgrades?

Per google, "Nest Hub respects your privacy.
You can turn off the mic at any time with the mic switch. And easily clear your Google Assistant history whenever you want." There is a mic on/off switch on the back.

I have a coupon I can use towards this at Kohls but not until 11/5. Hopefully this deal is still around then.

My cell phone does most of these tasks. I'm struggling with why I need one. I like being able to answer your doorbell if you can't get to it or have disabilities, which is nice. My phone tells me if the garage door opened or was left open. I can look up recipes on the cell phone. I can play music on my cell phone or stream to tv or speakers. Just trying to find that reason to get one as they are cheap.
