I had to read through 2 pages of comments before I found that LHR has nothing to do with the function of the graphics card for GRAPHICS. Just limits its mining ability. The fact not one of the commenters mentioned it was specifically a mining cripple, makes me want to thumb them down too...🤷 ♂️
Don't even try to rationalize it, none of these people are going to listen. 🤣 Mining has completely destroyed the industry for gamers and it looks like there is no end in sight. Hopefully soon it will become unprofitable so we can see some semblance of normalcy.
Also, the argument of the "chip shortage" and not the mining for GPU scarcity is hilarious. As long as GPUs are money making machines then those that are looking to profiteer off of them are going to buy them all up. If there were no chip shortage then video cards would just be almost impossible to find instead of totally impossible.
To be very clear here, ALL RTX 3060 versions are "LHR" in that they are all designed to limit ETH mining at half hashrate.

There is, however, a big difference between LHR v2 and LHR v1 --> LHR v1 can still hash at full with the leaked 470.05 beta drivers from Nvidia when in a PCI-E x16 slot (or x16 to x16 riser), and when plugged into a display (or using HDMI dummy plug).

LHR v2 can achieve 75% ETH hash rate using the latest version of T-Rex miner, and NBMiner.

can you rip the card out and sell it?
OEM AIB's are saleable given the current GPU shortage but it'll be still be cheaper than a brand-name AIB made from reference design because of the lack of cooling. With that said, YouTuber Gamer's Nexus should be able to tell you everything about that.

The deal is dead lol. It's also a hassle to do that.

Do these usually take until the listed ship date to go out?? I'd buy one but I don't want to wait over a month for it to arrive.
I ordered a custom configuration from HP on October 5th, was suppose to ship out on Nov 5th. Just got a notification it won't ship out until Nov 25th at the earliest. I do not have high hopes of that happening.

You have an error in your post. You stated $773. That's incorrect, no?

Hi,

just ordered this spec for $935 including tax

AMD Ryzen™ 3 5300G (4.0 GHz up to 4.2 GHz, 8 MB L3 cache, 4 cores)
8 GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB) - will upgrade tp 16GB for 70$
256 SSD storage
1 TB HDD storage - to keep files and games
NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3060 (12 GB GDDR6 dedicated)
Shadow black front bezel, Acid Green Chrome logo with 400W Power supply
Realtek Canary ac 2x2 Bluetooth 5 M.2 2230 PCI-e USB WW with 2 Antennas

Few questions:

1. Do I need dedicated monitor or I can attach this PC directly to our 85' 4K Samsung TV HDMI and run some good games ?

2. Compared to Xbox S any gaming advantages ? Any limitations in games, may be worth upgrading this spec to a i5 11th gen for +100$ ? ( This is Christmas gift for my 10yo son, let him play games and learn some mining/money making Smilie - kind of project for next year.

3. Let say he will get into mining, which dummy HDMI plugs you would recommend or any cheapest from eBay will do it ?

very entertaining and thank you for all updates !
