I can't believe how people care about what others get excited over
It adds up. Just buying things I buy anyway, I've saved $160 this year so far with Discover. Will probably add another $50 with Christmas shopping since Amazon and Walmart on on there this quarter.
Combined with my other rewards cards, with just a tiny bit of planning, I net about $600-1000 a year in cashback and travel. It's not nothin'.
I wish they weren't so strict with the grocery store category. None of my go to places count for groceries.

General question - how do you guys keep track of offers and cashbacks, discovery/amex/chase/paypal/etc.. I keep finding after the purchase that I should use rather other card or trying to remember at register which card is best here.. I can't be the only one facing this :-) any ideas?

On my phone home screen if I swipe to the right I get a quick notes screen. I always keep a cheat sheet of card X has extended warranty, card Y has cash back for these categories, card Z has free international ATM and conversion rates etc etc. Then whenever I'm in line I just look at what store I'm at our what I'm buying and what card gives me what I'm looking for.

I have a calendar entry for the quarter with the bonus cash backs listed in the notes

I know some folks use a label maker with their credit cards especially for the Discover IT and Chase Freedom since they have their quarterly categories.
Also what I do on Google Wallet/GPay is name my credits what I use them for
To get 6 months of 5% cashback at Amazon, get the Paypal Virtual Card (no cost) then add it to your Amazon account as a payment method. Then during the Discover Card 3rd quarter, direct your Amazon purchases to your Paypal Virtual Card which you can then direct the payment to post (charge) to your Discover Card. So now you get a total of 6 months of 5% Discover Card Cashback bonus at Amazon.
digital wallet means google pay, apple pay etc ... interesting...
Too bad not this quarter. In 2022 around this time I won't even remember the category.
I wouldn't even call this a deal since you can't even activate for the 1st quarter 2022. Probably have to wait until end of November or early December to even activate.

I print labels for work and there is always a margin leftover so I take that 1" strip and cut it down to fit on the front or the back of the credit card and just write what the category is. Or you can just cut a strip of paper and affix with packing tape.
