This box was such a disappointment for me. Philips should really consider their target market a little more for the price they sell this for. Tons of handshake issues, no HDMI 2.1 support, and no sign of a v2.0 with 8K support for TVs or next Gen PS5 or Xbox consoles made this a quick and unfortunate return for me. True statement about rarely being on sale though. If you have a 4K TV and don't plan to use with a modest AV setup, it may be your cup of tea.

Yes it does. The AVR output goes to the the Sync Box and then the HDMI output from the sync box goes to the TV. Works great for me other than some slight hiccups with Dolby Vision that occur infrequently.

You will lose out on 4K @ 120Hz capabilities as the Sync Box has 2.0 ports. Can do 1440p @ 120Hz or 4K @ 60Hz still (which is fine for 99% of current use cases — not future proof though).

No, it needs to be routed through the sync box.

I wanted this one so badly but went with with both 77 and flush mount TV (so high on the wall -> gap between the media center and the bottom and no room to add the strip).

Will do. Chat wouldn't do it but they had me call customer service to try since they said they didn't have the option on their end. I need 3 more of these bad boys. Already have 1 and it's nice! I currently have 10 light strip plus around my projector screen, planning on narrowing it down to 4 ambient gradient strips so I can place the other lightstrips elsewhere in the room

Nice....I bought the Sync Box and 75 Gradient strip a couple months ago (wish I waited for this deal) for my 85" Qled. I'm looking for something to put on the bottom of the TV and thought the Ambient Gradient strips would be perfect. I'm also considering the Hue Play Bars to place behind my Klipsch floor standing speakers. The Play Bars are also on sale with this deal, or alternatively you can get the 3-pack from Costco right now for $130. Only problem with those is they don't include enough power adapters.

I just purchased these over the weekend. Hopefully, I can get the difference back without much fuss. If not, I'll try returning and re-purchasing.
