I had a previous similar offer on my AmEx Propel back in July. It did work with egifter but took a while for the credit to be posted to the account

They did this last year but the credit was just $5
So this is a lot more generous but the $5 one last year was offered to a lot more people than this one
It sounds like this one is very targeted
