has anyone bought multiple of these and then used the gift cards to pay their own statement balance? my idea is to buy 3 x $300 gift cards to pay my statement balance and get $60 in promo credits

Pretty sure it's limit 1, unless you have the offer on multiple cards.

The offer says $20 back on $300 or more of gift cards. So you are only going to get a max of $20 back. You could buy multiple $50 or $100 ones totaling $300 if you actually wanted to gift them.
