I have been looking for a decent price on a 6800XT for a while now and stumbled across this. Prices are still crazy for buying a gaming card but compared to other sites I have seen with 6800XT cards this one is near the lowest I have seen and the lowest in stock right now. Grabbed one while this is still out there.

Just keep in mind, that is MSRP for the AMD reference card. The partner cards are always more expensive. I think MSRP for this specific card is $1269. I don't think that's a good price for a 6800xt, but this deal pretty much is MSRP for this card.
Again, I'm not buying it but I can't call someone totally crazy for ordering it.

This is a crazy price. It makes a 3080 look cheap, and those are already $300 more than they were last year.

Got my rtx FTW3 3080 hybrid evga for $779 last December. It has DLSS and good raytracing speed. This is a poor deal.

Dec 2020 is great but right now EVGA has the card listed for $1500 and that is if you can even find it in stock.

Since MSRPs were announced, Taiwan Semiconductor has said that there is a 10-20% price increase in the manufacturing costs of these chips. These are by far the most complex chips ever manufactured by mankind. Also we have 6% annual inflation now, thanks to Trump. Add in a year and a half of that! So when supply returns, I think you'll be blessed to pay only 25% over MSRP even if the shelves are full of product, considering that founders cards are dumped at a fake MSRPs to stimulate interest.

The deal is gone but $1299 for a 6800xt is on par with the best public prices since I began pricing 6800xt cards 2 months ago. A 6800xt is 7% faster than a 3080 in the average game. People don't realize just how much better are the new AMD cards; Nvidia is no longer the clear leader it was 3Y ago.
