I highly recommend this if you don't like paying a monthly subscription fee! I've had a 2 camera Arlo Pro 2 setup for 4 years and it's great. I may pick up another one as a backup in case the batteries in my current setup die.
It's HD quality and the best part is it comes with free 7 day cloud storage for the recordings. You can even download recordings to save them to your phone, tablet or computer.
The newer cameras have 4K resolution but they make you pay a $9.99 monthly subscription fee to save recordings for 30 days. Without the subscription, you only get live streaming, which is completely useless for home security because nobody can watch a livestream 24/7.

I was going to quibble a bit about the HD quality but thought I'd take another look at the stream to refresh my memory. That was a mistake.
Live connection via web is iffy at best. Get ready for lots of request timeout messages and undulating dots across the frozen image.
Cloud recordings play more reliably but the image quality isn't great; the much less expensive Eufy 2K beats it handily.
And the download feature is a must, since often the cloud clips won't play completely in browser (Chrome; Edge seems to do better).
I think this is a real sleeper deal. Got me to bite.
Quality looks fine at the recordings on Youtube. I don't see anywhere you can get 3 2k outdoor wireless Eufy cameras for $270. I see 2 packs for $350? Hard to describe that as "much less expensive", tho. Plus, this is 7 days free cloud storage whereas it looks like Eufy is local. If that's what you want, great, but cloud is extra.

Local storage is a poor idea when it comes to security. They Rob your house and take the storage with them and you've got nothing.
