I did this Google search:

hp employee store company code

and found this link:

From which I got:

Company name: Berkshire Hathaway

That worked, after two failed attempts to register. I did the third (successful) registration in an incognito Chrome browser window. That probably didn't make any difference. I used a different email from the two failed attempts too (obviously, I guess).

Would it be possible to cancel before it is shipped? Case too many delays happen or a crazy bf deal pops up?

If it is delayed then it is not an issue. HP can be a pain to cancel but as long as you do it before shipping it is not an issue. Just make sure to use a good credit card in case you need to file a dispute on it. HP warranty support is fine but their order support sucks.

As someone who's looked at HP's site regularly since the deals available over July 4th, I'm pretty confident the ship date is just today's date + 6 weeks, and is in no way binding.

HP has had issues with shipping dates on desktops but I have not had a problem for laptops and they usually ship out earlier. That being said, with supply chain issues and Nvidia/AMD running out of their chip allocations from Samsung and TSMC, it might be a bumpy ride. I am in for a few for mining purposes but if they delay shipment, I will cancel. My order from the previous sale has moved into assembly but my ship date has not changed from 12/16.
