I did this Google search:

hp employee store company code

and found this link:

From which I got:

Company code: EN5215
Company name: Berkshire Hathaway

That worked, after two failed attempts to register. I did the third (successful) registration in an incognito Chrome browser window. That probably didn't make any difference. I used a different email from the two failed attempts too (obviously, I guess).

This is a great deal, but I really wished it had a brighter display option. 300 nits is the minimum acceptable for a good machine but this machine is better than good. 400 would be matching the right level... I got the L7 that has 400 nits and it's so nice to be able to get that bright when needed (not needed often but still important).

Good luck with Newegg. Any deal that comes even remotely close to this will involve a large risky rebate. And then you have to deal with Newegg on returns and their BS stacking free virtual items that they charge you full price for if you return something.

Boy the specs on this machine sure are impressive for the price. Not sure about the quality of HP laptops these days though. Havent considered one in many years and havent read much about them since.
