Bose.com [bose.com] has
refurb QuietComfort 35 II headphones for
$159.
Yes it's refurb, but it's direct from Bose, and is the lowest outright price I've seen that doesn't need a military discount, Prime credit card discount, etc.
$20 cheaper than the $179 price that was offered earlier, and $40 less than the $199 sale price of a new unit.
Bose's refurbs contain the same 1-year Warranty as a new unit.
You can pay with a CC that adds an extra year of warranty on refurb products, such as Chase credit cards.
Free return shipping within 90 days (vs. eBay store's 30 days)
Black [bose.com] $159
Silver [bose.com] $159
Rose Gold [bose.com] $159
Midnight Blue [bose.com] $159 (temporarily OOS)

I bought with a credit card (Chase Freedom, 5% cash back via PayPal Key) that extends the 1-year warranty by another year, making it a 2-year warranty anyway. Plus with the added benefit of getting 90 days to test it out rather than just 30.

You can also read about this nice little perk here [mouseprint.org].
I bought 2, used $20 off new user coupon, used AMEX with $30 off $200 and went through cashback portal for extra 2%.
Order total needs to e $200 to use coupon and AMEX deal.

I guess people would rather spend $180 on new, than $159 on refurb.

Bose refurbs are as solid as Apple's but $21 is too small of a difference for most to just buy a "new" set
That being said $160-180 is still far better value than buying the newer QC45, these are the most comfortable headphones on the market bar none
Also, good deal OP!
