I returned to Amazon and a replacement was sent. This was complete but again the serial numbers did not match. I contacted the seller who said they didn't understand what I was saying but I could return for a refund.
I don't think "gray market" is the correct term. The term "gray market" refers to the import and sale of goods by unauthorized dealers. This seems to be more nefarious. I'm waiting until Logotech opens and see if I can validate the serial numbers. I will post a follow up but I do not recommend.
