Honestly it's better to spend $250 on the Garmin Fenix 5X Pro with Sapphire glass. Almost the same features but better protection. I bought my refurb 5X Pro/Plus and haven't had any issues.

Agreed. I have a sapphire edition 5x and at about 5-6 yrs old, still looks great.
