Best deal I've seen in a very long time on an inverter generator.

If you are going to store long-term it's best to empty out the gas. Overtime gasoline loses its combustibility properties and can gum up.

Also use ethanol-free gas, fuel stabilizers and even hand filtering your gas
add up your power requirements and see if they exceed 1800w.
This comes with a year warranty compared to 3 for the one at Sam's.

I'd do this one for the $$$, they are about the same feature wise (diff in dB rating due to different measurement distances)

I bought the Champion generator from the Woot deal a month ago. It was $369. Which one is better?

These are great, I have one model below. Alot of these look the same through different brands, likely the same manufacturer. Worked great out of the box with oil/gas. I ran it over several days last summer after storms rolled through and knocked out power.

The one I purchased prior was off ebay and was around $340.

These are inverter so they maintain correct voltage which is key for electronics.

I've been looking for something to power my DJ system for events where power is too far away. Would this be sufficient to run 2 powered speakers, laptop, and a mixer?

Noob User question:

1. Assuming we need to power individual equipment using this inverter and cannot plug into central source?

2. What kind of equipment can this power?

After last years Texas freeze I am thinking of keeping 1/2 of these for personal use or lend to those that might need it.

What is the impact of storing this and not being used for long period of time?
