MarioKart live is the game that works with the real life RC. Be sure you want this instead of MarioKart 8 deluxe.
Public Service Announcement and Reminder:

If a digital game is on sale direct from Nintendo and is the same price digitally at other retailers, buy from the other retailers (unless, of course, if you have credit).

When buying direct from Nintendo, you only get gold coins based on the sale price. When you buy from somewhere else and activate it with a code, you earn full gold coins based on full retail price.
Maybe because some people only played docked, or to save money, or that it's actually in stock?

Great news, been waiting for links awakening. Thanks.
No deal on Mario Oddysey?
Walmart currently has the physical for $36.27 or digital for $37.76.

Is the Nintendo Switch + Mario Kart bundle for $299 likely to be a difficult to find deal that sells out in minutes or requires camping at a store? I'm debating buying a copy of Mario Kart now if the above is true.

I wish they had discounted this further like they did with pretty much all other Switch games.

I understand the resentment of people who complain games like Mario Kart never coming down in price.

I get it. I was one of those that complained why a game that is x years old, why should it stay at the original retail price.

I finally gave in and bought it when it was at a "low" price of $40.

Having played it now with friends and family, I also understand why it holds its value. Because it's a great game to play... and it doesn't get old, especially when you play multiplayer. There will always be newcomers to the Nintendo platform; they will want to play a fun game that can be used for quick rounds, or build their status up through the tournaments.

So, yes, replayability is high, and at the end, it actually works out on the premium if you play it enough, either on your own, or with a bunch of friends; because it is pretty hilarious when we all get together and play, and the cost of the game is not really an issue anymore.

A Nintendo newbie here. Got a new switch from Costco with 12 month online membership for kiddo for Christmas. Do I need to still buy games or online membership will be enough?

You can only play membership games if you are connected to the internet (and these too are games from NES and SNES only). So if you're on the road then you can't play them unless you connect online using the phone or car hotspot.

There's literally no reason you should get the old Nintendo switch over the new OLED one i got the new OLED switch and I love it. The screen makes a really big difference for me. I wouldn't get the old switch even if it comes with Mario kart.
I don't want to wait for Switch OLED and then spend $380 WITHOUT game and after tax.

I WANT to save $ PERIOD so I am NOT going to take your meaningless input.

Instead I got me a Switch LITE Pokémon Dialga Palka edition for $205 after tax from Target.

$205 - $380 = $175 in price difference. Is that not hard to understand??

Tried ordering a Ring Fit through the Best Buy app and it kept glitching (allowed me to add it to the cart only to say it went out of stock). It worked through the web browser though. Just a heads up.
