Personally, I would go with the AX4300 from Costco. Don't get tricked by the price from best buy. I've seen this deal from BB before, at least twice since last black Friday.

Bought the deal and have been trying to get it to work properly for days. I've had Netgear products for over 20 years and this is the worst. Over 40 years in IT so I'm no newbie.

I've stopped buying Netgear products after having two Nighthawks that both turned into paperweights.

For a while I was debating between the two and ended up going with the Best Buy mode last year. After looking at the specs of the Costco model, it strips many of the technologies from the router that allows you to maintain high speeds especially across multiple devices. The Costco model is neutered and is much less of an upgrade at that point.

Working with shoestring budgets of non-profits, or helping out a family with minimal means of income, one has a difficult time justifying high-end electronics. When it's absolutely needed for critical operations, reliability, security or safety, of course you to bite the bullet and pay the bucks. Just saying...P.S. it's over 40 years of IT. Closer to 50. Before it was called IT. TCP and IP was just a concept. 😏
