Yes you can
11-09-2021 at 02:15 PM
Yes you can... Of course the more hops it has to take between devices to reach the internet the slower it becomes... Only gaming is really impacted.

yes
11-15-2021 at 12:50 PM

Should work if your 5g router has ethernet out
11-15-2021 at 12:52 PM
Yes, it should definitely work with Tmo's 5g Internet.
11-15-2021 at 01:19 PM
Yes, you must connect with your 5G capable device to the 5G network in order to take advantage of the speed advantages.
11-15-2021 at 11:12 PM
Your device must be able to have 5G connection.

The S4 is faster compared to NEST Wifi

If you like the TP-link brand, I would recommend the tp-link M9 Deco, but it would also depend what you're using the internet for.

If I understand you correctly, you want to make a connection via wifi from your existing netgear router to one of these mesh systems. The answer as far as I know is NO over wifi as your existing router is a Netgear brand and not a mesh system. You could possibly run a cable from your existing router to one of the mesh units and then extend the coverage with the additional tp link units. You would likely need to change some settings on the Netgear router. Mine is set up similar to this as I was using the old router as a switch as well for my previous setup. I just turned off the Wi-Fi on it when I bought my tp-link mesh system.

Skip the 3-pack X20 and get the 3-pack X60 from Costco for 20 bucks more (if you are or know a Costco member).
BS. I have them in both homes, including KASA devices. Rick solid.
Could you provide some context instead of leaving useless comments?

I have used TP-Link products for a long time and have never had a single issue. Their Kasa line of smart switches and plugs is fantastic IMO, especially factoring in the price component. Their routers are also solid, although admittedly not as feature rich historically as some other brands like ASUS or Netgear. On the other hand, my Netgear routers all had connectivity issues and died after a few years due to unstable firmware updates. My TP-Link mesh system has been running without a problem for over a year.

Does anyone know if you can combine two sets of the TP Mesh 6 to cover a larger area? Need to cover about 8000 square feet.

I got the mesh 3 pack about a year ago. Been very stable so far. I have a 3 floor 4000 sqft home, covers everywhere well.

Which is the most flexible mesh out of all of these? I've tried a system or two in the last year and wasn't impressed with how crippled they were.

I got the Deco X20 on prime day and have never had a single problem. The only thing that irks me a little is that Amazon sells the v1.2 Deco X20. There is now a v2 and v2.6. These both get regular updates and I've never had a single firmware update since June.
