I have 10 switches and 8 plugs and I've never had trouble with any of them connecting and faithfully carrying out its scheduling.

Add me to those that love these for holiday lights as well!

These would all work with home assistant natively. Also ifttt compatible but if you want to get into higher level and better automation I would recommend home assistant. I have some of their smart switches in my house and they work fine. Wyze has a better automation natively in their own app but no one makes everything perfectly

edit: I bought 15 for $10 more than sale price back in April of last year. 16 I got for $3 more back in March this year. I got 18 for like $40+ which is showing sale of $20ish here which I lost bad on that one. I got two of 7 a month ago one for $11 and a used one for $8. based on my previous purchases I would say they are discounted but not by much. maybe the larger packs. I would verify with camel^3

Good find. I purchased a while ago for $17.99 it works perfectly for my need: control security light and holiday string lights individually.
I have lots of kasa plug home all are very reliable and support local control with varieties of home automation platform. However my experience with kasa wall switch/dimmer has not been that great. They randomly drop off after router restart and need to reset to join the wifi network.

Amazon has a sale on the TP-Link Kasa HS210KIT smart switches which are a pair of the 3-way switches. You can use these in a pair together or individually with a "dumb" normal switch on the other side with no rewiring for multiple 3-ways installs.

I have a few TP-Link Kasa products in my home (1 smart bulb, 2 smart plugs and a smart power strip) and they all have issues staying connected and following the scheduled on/off times. Just a fyi.

I have 8 different indoor/outdoor smart plus from kasa, and all of them have been running great for last 2-3 years...outdoor plug is a must have for holiday lights, one of them is inside porch so protected from the rain and snow but the other one is outside open and been running fine, second year in chicago weather
