This is only the second opinion on curtain hanging methods I've ever heard, the first being that lady from Twin Peaks who wants silent curtains…

Btw similar ones in WMT are $6 to $7 regular reduced price

i think it depends on the diameter of the rod. I have a thin rod that has no issue with grommets, however another rod that is much thicker always gives me problems

i think it depends on the diameter of the rod. I have a thin rod that has no issue with grommets, however another rod that is much thicker always gives me problems

Pricing and discounts change with different colors and sizes. I abandoned this deal when I saw that it was complicated. -couldn't find 20% off coupon, had to buy 2 sets for 50% off. Big Lots has this style of curtains for similar confusing prices in their stores. (YMMV).
I will wait for a real deal.

I think in theory the rod and grommets have to be polished or have some kind of super smooth surface finish for it to slide smoothly. Or maybe put UHMW tape on the rod.

Mine gets caught on the part of the rod where it connects to make it longer/shorter. So better to have a one piece type/style rod.
