The TigerDirect being referred to as decades old is incorrect. The name has been purchased and resold by different holding companies… the real store and warehouse no longer exist. Everything now is essentially drop ship… not judging this deal, just informing everyone you really have no idea where this product is shipping from… and if you have any issues, don't have high expectations for the getting 100% resolution.

exactly my thoughts. we are in the same boat. I really feel smoothness on ipad pro is way better. But it is too much of price difference than what we got tab S7+
Also great OS updates on ipad than tab S7. Great for long term. but price is the only thing dragging me back

The 256GB 5th gen refurbished from Walmart for $486 was a smoking deal. They were mostly grade As. People downvoted the thread and marked it expired but it was going in and out of stock for a good two weeks before Walmart upped the price. It's now $699 which is still a better deal than this imo.

The M1 is really worth the difference imo over s7+ and the 4th gen. It's a huge difference. Samsung is nice but not in the same league right now. I'd say try and get the M1 if you can afford it or hold out for a year if you can wait. If you game on your tablet get the M1. Battery life, charge time, everything is better irl.

We'll, the M1 speed IS noticeable, and for some tasks quite so. Certainly the SCREEN on the M1 is the best there is and the prior generation screens can't really match it. Personally, I'm by choice still on a 2018 model as I didn't need the bigger cameras (and didn't like the bumps) and didn't need a lot of speed and the M1 was even BIGGER (I know its small but I could notice it). If I could get and M1 refurb (I expect them to come soon) from apple in the 256GB model for ~ 150-175 more than this, that would be a better deal IMHO
