Both of my college kids have these and they are pretty good work horses. Not the best for much gaming but for college work and some fortnite the really have worked out well.

Great price for what it is. I'd probably get the Samsung pro book though, similar specs but much much lighter.

Didn't previous versions of this come with a 1650 gpu? This is just integrated graphics... XE which is decent but still... for that money I'd want a dGpu.

Thank you borrego93010 for that info. My intended use is basic business applications. I'm not a gamer, but I do use a graphic intensive architectural app that runs well enough on my current I-5 8gb configuration with shared graphics. I considered finding one with a graphics card, but at this price point, all of those configurations sacrificed either memory size or some other upgrade that is standard on this machine. Thank you Joejoedaa for that astute observation and on point suggestion.

Thank you takhyon. I checked out the book pro 360 on the Samsung site. It does appear to be a similar configuration to the HP, however as they are not particularly forthcoming with their hardware specs, it is difficult to compare. For instance, I could not verify that it does contain a dedicated gpu, or that the screen resolution is the same as well as the 400 nit brightness. It is AMOLED and it does look like a nice machine. Thank you for showing me an alternative to the HP, but at this time I am still sold on the HP. If you know of a better place to find actual Samsung specs, I am interested to see them.
