Please be aware - these xfinity comcast speeds are not guaranteed, read the fine print, after paying for gigabit speeds for 2 yrs realized it never came even close, we were getting only 250 mbps I tried different routers.
Also if you have many in the neighborhood on Xfinity, it slows you down.
Lastly, when we went past 1 TB we got an additional bill saying we used too much, this happened for two months and I switched.
Although their Customer Service is much better than ATT

Can I have two internet service provider at my address? I have verizon but would like to split my devices between two providers.
If the services come into your house on different wiring (fiber vs coax) I don't see why not. You'll probably have to install a second network in your house too though.

Sure; it's your money. I don't think there are many/any consumer solutions for dual connections or load balancing at the WAN input, but someone probably has a git repository that could be set up on a small PC, maybe even a Pi. Here's the first Google hit: https://github.com/Adze1502/mwan
Edit: you can do this manually if you want to dedicate certain devices to certain networks. Just set up two routers and two wired networks or, for wireless, set them up with different SSIDs and bind them to specific, different channels. Bonus points if you spring for a 6e wireless router, as it will have several non-overlapping channel bands.

I'm with you, I never understand why some people post the exact same information that was already in the OP. Just to boost their own Post count? It drives me nuts.
Thanks for posting a full, and complete post.
These posts would have been posted separately on their own by the poster. The mods see that there is an existing thread for the same topic and merge the post to that.

I just got away from Xfinity FINALLY. Their monopoly in the area for so many years is being shattered by fiber.
Comcast won't lift a finger to retain current customers unless they have you for multiple services. Problem is, their services are the least reliable in the area. Internet WAS the only strong point.
Now their internet is having problems and fiber is becoming more and more available, and at much better rates.
Anyone reading this far... I wish you a fiber install for the holidays.
Same here that is no way to check if they overcharge you there are days that we are barely at hone and it always go over just enough so you pay the $19.99 extra fee i ended up paying a lot more than if i went unlimited with att. All i use is the regular computer a family of 3 and netflix. Too much headache to save $15 "if you are able
To maintain under 1tb"
Hmm I'm able to check my data usage on the Xfinity website. Is that not the same case for you?
I also have my own modem.
