I do a long ride per week (in the 30-50 mile range) and I've had a few variations of these small battery operated pumps. Sad to report, these have seriously all crapped out at most after about using it 10-20 times. Seems like having to pump your tire up 100+ PSI really does a number on these little guys.

This price seems to be the norm now so it's not a SD!

compact manual pump is lighter, can be easily mounted on the frame and unlikely to break any time soon.

I don't doubt you, but for the little it's worth... camel X3 states the lowest was $50. This current price has only been achieved with a coupon code.

I honestly cannot remember - I know they've had the larger air pump for $50 or less but I have not really had a huge need for it yet.

Good to know, thnx! Was considering one of these lil' things for my tires and air fork's much higher psi. Trying to be selective about building out my bike's on-the-go toolkit

But filling 29 x 2.6" tires on a trail with a hand pump gets old fast, even if it's only 18psi.

Yes, but when you're totally fried after 70 miles on a road bike trying to get anything close to adequate PSI is a struggle. Then again, that's why I carry CO2 cartridges.
