Unlimited Plan
$10/mo.
For the First 2 Months

And Then $25/mo. Forever.
*$25 price includes $5/mo. AutoPay discount. If you turn off AutoPay it's $30/mo.
  • Unlimited Talk, Text & Data
  • No Contract Required
  • $25/mo. Forever.
  • 30GB of Premium Data
If you use more than 30 GB of high speed, premium data, your speeds may be lowered to 512kbps.

Try us for 30 days, and if you don't like us, you get your money back.

*After your first 2 months (at $10/month), you will pay $25/mo. unless you go online or call to cancel (or port out). Requires Autopay. iPhone, requires iOS 15.2 or higher. 5G service requires compatible device. 5G is not available everywhere.

This is charged at $10 per month, not $20 up front.

I was able to proceed with instant ESIM activation porting from Mint Mobile, where I plan to port back to when this promo expires. As of yet, at least in my area of Massachusetts, I have noticed a 5G+ symbol, and a surprising speedtest of ~220Mbps down. That may be due to any number of factors like geographical area, time of day, amount of demand on tower, etc.

Note, this plan does NOT include hotspot. Hotspot is available as an adddon.

Internet didn't work correctly until I fully rebooted my iPhone. The airplane mode trick didn't get whatever APN bundles were needed to get internet rolling right away.

Also, Wi-fi calling is included and does work in this plan, but if you try to turn it on too quickly after activation (during the first ~hour of activation), you'll get a blank popup and then eventually a message to contact Boost to turn on Wi-fi calling. Just wait at least an hour after activating to try turning on Wi-fi calling. It'll ask for your E911 address and work just fine.

I do not know if turning off AutoPay during the promo period will increase the monthly price to $15 - so I haven't tried. Perhaps someone here will find that out. I use a virtual card where I can control spend limits anyway and have plans to port out before the monthly price goes up.

Just curious if people with Boost had any port out issues in the past, I called to get my port out PIN and was told that they can only give it to a representative of the carrier I'm porting to, and they can't give it directly to me.

Never heard of that. They do give a retention pitch though

2 month deal is a NO deal. Infimobil 15GB unlimited T/T for $115 yearly is good but I am getting Mint unlimited everything deal for $180 12 months. Had been a boost customer for few months did not have any issue.

Same, when I have previously ported out of Boost in the past I didn't get resistance, they do try to ask some probing questions (like why are you leaving, who are you going to, and at times offering a short term discount in the form of renewing credits for 1-3 months to keep your business). However the last time I ported out from them I told them I was in a rush and didn't have time to answer their questions about my next carrier, I might be back some day but my plan was already paid with next carrier, and I just needed the pin. They were not difficult at all.
I've read some postings by some Slickdeals users about messy tactics being used, but more often with other MVNO's like Lyca is one that stands out. I think you'll have no issue porting out though here. I've done it plenty of times chasing the new customer offers. I tend to go back to Mint Mobile a lot because their 3-month new customer promo pricing and decent service. However I don't like to lock myself to any carrier for a full year just to retain that pricing. The freedom of choice and getting to try other carriers in areas as deals come up is nice in my opinion.

What's the downside to Boost? This seems like an incredible deal. Why am I still fooling around with post paid for similar service (assuming). Doesn't prepaid also get service priority during congestion?

I'll have to remember to call to port out next time I'm shopping for a deal. I can't remember the numbers, but I think it was something like $5 off the $15 plan and then they even went up to $10 off the $15 plan. It was only for two or three months though. I had already bought an annual plan through red pocket so I wasn't in a position to take their offers.

Echostar, Boost's parent, has had a tough time lately. There was some noise of them filing for bankruptcy recently in the last month.

I called just the other day to get mine and was only met with a few retention offers but she gave the pin with no problems. You got some newby or maybe someone with really bad metrics for not retaining customers?

I signed up for a promo for 3 months of service @ $15 a month, to be charged monthly, not like mint where you pay 3 months all at one time. I wasn't able to esim for some reason (dont remember exactly why) so they sent me a sim card. They activate the sim as soon as you order it, so thats the first red flag. Took about 3 days to arrive.

Second problem was I needed the sim the same day so I wasn't going to be able to use the sim they sent so I decided to chargeback my credit card (recommended by Customer service they could not stop the shipment and refund per their own policy.) Its been awhile so some details are a bit unclear but I remember thinking i had to turn off auto renew since I wasnt going to be using the service. I initially created an account with a username and password. When i tried to log back in it suddenly needed a verification code from the phone number that was associated with the sim card I hadnt received yet. I was able to turn auto renew off because I was still logged in on the app in my phone. Worst case scenario, i would have had to pop in the sim and get the activation code, provided they didnt already cancel the phone service since I had already done the chargeback.

The third thing I noticed when I went to turn off auto renew was that the price was not $15 per the promo. For some reason (they're shady AF) it was set to renew at $25. So they didn't even seem intent on honoring the promo pricing for the subsequent months.

Even my credit card didnt make me wait or provide additional evidence when I requested the chargeback. I logged into my account, found the charge and wrote a brief sentence or two about the reason for the chargeback. 10 minutes later I had a credit back for the charge no further questions. Never going to Boost Mobile again.

The account number and PIN they gave me didn't work for the second time more. F*ck Boost Mobile
