I have thought about getting a CnC table, but the reality of it is, I hardy have time enough to just buy cabinets off the shelf and install them. Something like this I think is cool. But would I ever use it
This can't cut acrylic or other plastics? Not even the 10w? It's not listed as one of the materials in the cutting section.
I wonder if it's just to avoid complaints from people who expect to be able to cut anything other than black acrylic with a ~450nm diode laser, when they see "acrylic" listed.
The claimed cut depth on the 10w for wood is possibly a little low if it's truly a dual diode ld+fac… and if it's not a dual diode then they're lying about the optical output power. Unfortunately all of their descriptive info seems to be written for the 5w module, with just stats for the 10w added. The overall power consumption for the 10w does line up with atomstack's dual diode module, though.
Kind of tempting to take a gamble on it, at this price. Hopefully it can be modded for air assist.

ultralazer is a hackers reference I think
Maybe you can use it to mark your cabinet and work with your logo from the inside.
