From what I've seen of the Apple movie store experience, the only things you see for a "Collection" is HD or SD. When you then go to individual movies within the collection, you will see the 4K then.
I'm not sure why this is but I think it's because many times a collection has a "mix" where not all content is 4K. So they don't want to falsely say you are buying a 4K collection if maybe something in it isn't 4K. Or it could be their software people didn't figure out how to check if ALL the contents of a collection were 4K.
So yeah you have to check individually or trust reports if others here confirm it.
I've bought many of these many times, but I do use the Apple system and I have to say the quality has been very good; though I still prefer UHD discs. Are all of these even out in 4K yet, or only the newer ones? Might still get this to have them all in one place.

I didn't know that, thanks for the heads up. I always check to see if it's in 4K, and there's been times where I've bought movies within Apple and the movies weren't 4K. So it's super confusing. Thanks for confirming on this set though.
If you click on individual ones in the set, they will tell you if they are offered in 4K. The Apple videos always offer you the 4K edition for free when you buy the HD ones, for any of their movies. I have even gotten this to work with ones I bought specifically in HD from some other MA version, like Vudu. When I watch them on Apple, they give me the 4K one anyhow if its available. Pretty cool.
Sadly, this collection is not MA (Movies Anywhere), so it stays on Apple and this same collection I already own in HD stays on Vudu. :-(

Hey, this SlickDeal here is still going on over at Vudu and FandangoNow (same company now). They have the UHD 4K collection on sale for $99 and then you can use discounted gift cards to get another 15% off that for an $85 out the door with the dedicated 4K collection, if you want it over there.

(Also bought on a non 4k aTV hooked up to a 1080 tv, yet it still displays the 4K emblem on each film.)
