We have an older version of these microwave+convection ovens from over 10 years ago. It's called a Half Time oven and are looking for a replacement as it sounds like it's starting to go out.
We use it everyday and we no longer use our standard electric oven anymore. I find electric consumption is lower because the unit maxes out at 1800 watts but only runs for 30 to 40 minutes vs a full sized oven to bake cookies or dinner when using the microwave+convection oven feature.
I think this is close to what we have our at the least an example of one.
