Pixel phones will only charge at 5W with other chargers, regardless of their output. They'll charge at 10W with this one.

If you have a Pixel, it'll charge at 10W as said above, let you display your photos, control up to 4 devices, activate Assistant, alarms, etc. Of course your phone can already do this, but you will get a more integrated experience when using a Pixel dock.

FWIW, these are great wireless chargers. I have multiple from my Pixel 3 and they are soft plastic with solid charging and especially if you are charging passively on a desk or overnight you don't need the newer fast wireless charging speeds.

also, i dont think it does this with other chargers/stands, when you put a pixel on these stands it goes into a mode much like a google assistant smart display.

How to confirm this? I previously bought this $10 AT&T charger and it appears to charge at 10+W my pixel 3.

I connected my phone to a wireless charger which i connected to a power meter to check the draw and it was 10-15W at the wall. doubt it was 50% inefficient....

accubattery shows 1500mA which matches when plugged into the wall so I think its wireless fast charging too,.

Yes. I'm currently using one with my Pixel 6 with a clear cover. The Pixel 2xl does not have wireless charging capability.

There are several third-party wireless chargers available that are far superior to this, and still charge even my old Pixel 3 XL at 10W. They both are more flexible and take either USB-C PD or QC 3.0 charging unlike the pixel stand that's only PD. They also charge certain phones at 15W, and some at 10W. Unlike the stand that does only 10W on Pixel phones. I can't see any reason whatsoever to buy the 1st gen Pixel stand, at any price given its myriad of limitations...

There's the Yootech that charges my P6P at 11W, costs $10:

There's the Spigen one that charges my P6P at 12W, along with the Pixel 4/5 at 15W, costs $22.49:

I thought the pixel 3 needed some sort of handshake to charge at 10 watts and it only worked with the official charger. Is the one that works with your pixel 3 the yootech?
