How does this compare to the Amazfit watches in this "budget" price range?

I bought one for my wife a year ago. We don't use anything other than use it to tell the time, show notifications and count steps.

Pros: It can tell the time
It will show notifications

Cons: Does a horrible job of counting steps

Compared to anyone else walking same distance with a phone tracking steps or a cheap smart watch. 2 phones and cheap watch in the region of 10k-12k steps. Versa 2, 6k steps !!!

I think this may be my last fitbit.

IDK, my original Versa was a champ. I feel like it was pretty on point with my steps. But I think it just lacks in features compared to Galaxy Watch 4 and Apple Watch.

It's a good deal for a fitness tracker.Thats about it. Don't rely on it to send and receive messages like smartwatch from Samsung/Apple/Google.

The price reflex what it can do. It's just a really fancy Fitbit with a nicer screen and it's got a nice square. You're not going to be reading mega emails or anything that so don't think you're going to fool yourself with that.

I had an ionic I absolutely loved it and it did what I needed to do.
