Yes, BPA free. I am looking for square glass containers.

There was a Pyrex deal going on in Macys and also somewhere else - i forgot. Use the keyword Pyrex in SD to see if still available.

I'm sure these are great prices. But please try to remove any plastics in your life that you heat up and drink/eat from.

Use these for non heatable things. I'm waiting on a glass ones for meal preps

If you have Ikea nearby, they have glass containers with lids.

Threw a bunch of these away. The rim chips waaaay to easy. Scary opening one with food, scooping it out and heating it up, only to realize there's a chip and did it happen before or after you scooped the food? Threw it all away!

I love Pyrex but hate the round containers. Waste space in cabinets and fridge. Wanted rectangle/square. So I went Rubbermaid Brilliance - GLASS version. Yes, they. make a glass version that uses the same lids!

LOVE THEM! Worth every penny. Also don't have to worry about the locking tabs breaking after lots of use either as they are not "live".

While stickers are showing up declaring certain products "BPA Free," that doesn't mean they're necessarily safe. ... (The FDA banned BPA in baby bottles.) It's been found in indoor dust samples and is beginning to show up in human urine, and it has been reported to be less biodegradable than BPA.

Agree. Best containers (either version) I've ever used.

Your supposed to twist lock gently I guess?
On a positive side, it means cleaning is easier for the rubber seal. Hate to have food residue and mold build up in these crevices.

Huh? What's showing up? BPA? And what is less biodegradable?

Even if its BPA free, its still very dangerous.
Plastic is plastic......it shouldn't be near the food that we eat.
