Maybe not the most exciting television out there compared to all the gigantic ones posted these days. But for those of us who need something small, this might just fit the bill.
I don't personally know about brand quality, I don't own an Insignia. I just found this price drop while waiting for some LG prices to hopefully drop.

Between summer house and main house, I have 4 small Insignia TVs including one of this exact one. The ones that list 178 wide angle as a feature do have excellent viewing angles. The 720P have better fluid motion than the 1080P small Insignia TVs.

Thanks for that information. I'm looking for a 24" with a wide viewing angle, so I'll find the one you mentioned and keep an eye on it for Black Friday. Guess I'll be passing on this one.
No one in their right mind would buy a 24" PC monitor that only did 720p, even for $80. So who would want a TV with the same specs? Unless you absolutely need a tuner or Coax connection don't buy this.

I offered an opinion on this deal, on a deal website where people are supposed to rate and review the quality of the deals and their level of slickness. Hope this helps.

Different purposes. My face goes a lot closer to my PC monitors than it does televisions.

Here is one if you want a 1080p picture. $50 off and it is only $20 more than a comparable 720p insignia Fire TV.
