Went to my local Walmart store as pickup was an option, I knew there are $1 OFF Peelie coupons on these packs, took 4 packs to self checkout (all they had left of 0.5MM) my favorite self checkout employee verified the online price of $1.80, did a price match for me, then I used 4 $1 OFF Peelie Coupons. Paid $3.70 for 4 packs plus tax.

Last time there was a Walmart deal on pens, it turned out to be a pricing error and I ended up with 6 individual pens instead of 6 packs of 12 pens, followed by a replacement order by a Walmart rep which also came with 6 individual pens, and ultimately a refund.

I can't find the link to the deal, but I ended up with 12 pens in exchange for talking on the phone with Walmart reps for an hour. Not sure I'd call it a slick for most people based on the time sink.

Adding to Walmart's cart wasn't working for a few tries, but after 10 mins or so it worked. So just keep trying. Was able to purchase 2 packs. Amazon is sold out though.

Bummer, I only use the ultra fine 0.38mm version of this product because I write super tiny. I've only been able to find them at Staples.

The Associate probably just cancelled it because it's not worth their time. If you ever shopped at Walmart's office section, it's always trashed-up - not worth their time trying to find a tiny $1.86 item in the chaotic shelves. Micro-Center does that too - I ordered for store pickup these $3 CPU thermal pads - my order was literally canceled within 2 minutes - meaning they never even bothered trying to see if the item was on the shelf.

Makes sense, thank you. Sounds like it's their problem though lol, otherwise they wouldn't allow in store pickup by default for office supplies
