I've bought these before and they are fine. A bit narrower than an inch but fine. I've since found out Menards sells single True Blue MERV 7 filters for $3.11 or $2.96 if you buy more than 3 ($35.52 for 12), so I get those now.

Also remember that strapping a 20x20 to a box fan makes a good DIY air filter.

I bought this for $60 a few weeks ago from HD. I just chatted with HD and got a $10.50 refund as a price match. You may want to do the same.

I bought these, they are VERY flimsy to the point that they will bend in towards the blower when it's running letting a lot of air pass around them. They work, just not great.

These are decent filters. They filter well enough without creating to much resistance.

If you do not need that many check out lowes or HD for 3 packs of pleated filters.

I've been using these for years. Always buy them on sale from HD. They're a great filter. Not too restrictive and better than the really cheapo fiberglass ones.

I used the true blue from Menards. The main issue with it is the frame . It bends very easy (I have a 4ton unit)

I've read MERV 8 is the best rating as a compromise between filtering and resistance. These are on target as MERV 8 and the price is very good.

Menard's also has similar DuPont MERV 8 filters (7500 model) available individually at about the same price, I haven't tried these, but the DuPont filters are pretty strong and hold up well.

There's more sizes than what comes up with the link. I had to clear all filters and then filter by size. Then the ones I needed showed up.
