Bought and returned. Clunky and wouldn't keep a connection. Not worth the hassle

I ordered this the other week and so far it's been an upgrade to wired CarPlay but there are some annoying drawbacks. First, make sure you're disconnected from your home network before trying to connect and setup the device for the first time. Then, on subsequent connections it takes a few minutes to connect, I'll usually be a few blocks from my house before carplay pops up.

Other than those issues it's great.

Got one of these a few months ago. I had intermittent issues until I updated the firmware using the included instructions. You need to keep checking and applying updates until there are no more.

I got either this or a similar one a few months back and I agree with everything you said and have the same issues but it's great to just leave the phone in your pocket and within 2 mins you have car play going

I tried this in a 2017 GM car, I was hopeful as it worked at first then it started acting up. The radio started locking up and screen presses lagged. The wireless car play unit seemed to overheat as it played longer and after 20 to 30 minutes everything started locking up. Make sure they have an easy return policy as there are quite a few issues reported similar to mine. Just a follow up, I had applied all updates but they didn't help.

Anyone know if this'll work with a pioneer DMH-2660NEX?

Are there any of these devices that actually fully work? Every one of these I've seen has poor reviews.

The item itself is okay but the seller sucks. The return is PIA in my opinion.

Proper good price. Got one for my car a few months ago (on Amazon) for $90 and that was the best price I'd seen at the time.

Works well on my car, about once a week it doesn't connect so I just pull and replug the unit. That's the only issue I've had but otherwise works well.

Got another for the 2nd car

No this is apple only. It works great on our Hyundai Palisade but definitely YMMV.
If you want one for Android, good luck. AAwireless has quite the wait on Indiego.
