just because a gpu isn't rtx 3000 doesn't make it bad. this is an entry level gpu and the laptop is priced accordingly.
temper your expectations and make sure your needs/wants would be met with this laptop before buying. if you're complaining that a $500 laptop has a 1650, you need a reality check.
this laptop and ps5 are two very different devices, with the ability to play games being basically the only commonality. if you're shopping for the best gaming device with a $500 budget, yeah you should stick to consoles. your comment is irrelevant.

I have this same laptop and I can run forza horizon 5 at high settings comfortably at 75+ fps
no new games are good unless you're a mindless drone with bad taste

Price wise you won't get a better laptop for $500 without having to go in person to walmart and finding a hidden gem.
I don't think anyone can argue this isn't a great bang for the buck even if the technology is headed out the door.
Those PC's are most likely using RTX on though unlike this GTX 1650
