This might be an unpopular opinion but, of all the Leatherman multitools out there, this is the one I find the hardest to justify dropping money on it. Not saying that this is bad tool or anything. I myself own several Leatherman tools (Sidekick, Charge AX, Wave, and even a Rev) and I love them all. However, the low amount of tools/functions that this tool has combined with the price seems to be not so good of a deal. Again, not hating on the tool or OP for posting this. Pretty sure is well built and what not but doesn't feel right spending money on it.
Fair points regarding value vs versatility. I never considered that. I'm a bit of a Leatherman junkie and I find that in reality, all I really ever use are pliers, knife, and screwdriver and occasionally the bottle opener. So of my dozens of tools, I carry the skeletool almost exclusively. If there is one feature that is not on the skeletool that I actually miss, it's the small eyeglass screwdriver available on my wave. That's a feature I'd use. Otherwise this is perfect for my needs 99% of the time.
I've had my skeletool for over 10 years and use it all the time. At 5oz, the skeletool is comfortable to always keep in your pocket. As another poster stated, I mainly use it for the Knife, Pliers/wire cutter, and Screwdriver so it's perfect for my purposes. I would definitely recommend this.

And yet, I wonder how many other things in the cabin could be used to hurt/kill. 🙄

IMO everyone should own this, especially homeowners. It is the best multi tool on the market for anyone who needs something handy to help with chores.

This is an awesome tool. Have had one for 10 plus years. I have 2 gripes with it though. The spare bit will get lost and the belt clip while easy to slip in your pocket will rub against things. This has caused scratches on my steering wheels. But over all a great etc

For those who need the added small screw driver and stuff the Leatherman micra is an awesome companion to this device.

I usually switch off between the skeletool (one handed blade, straight and serated, bottle opener etc) and the Leatherman mut. It's bigger and heavier but has a hammer and better wire strippers where the blades can be replaced etc.

Kinda hate it as a screw driver but it's convenient to have all these tools in your pocket all at once. Price seems high but that is the way things are now.

Lol thank you for finding the word I was trying to use: value. Too early in the morning and I needed some coffee Big Grin.

But yeah, 100% sure it has its uses like you just described. Unfortunately, not for my needs haha. I wish that Super Tool 300 deal from TAG a few months ago went through. That's the one I kinda want.

This is especially funny considering they clearanced all of these a few years back for like $12/each. I bought like 10 of them. Still have a few brand new in the packaging hanging in my shop. They're decent multitools but I don't think I'd pay more than $30 for one.
Facts I remember a display on Clearance a few years back at Home Depot for $7 ea. Also the Leatherman Wave. I still have a few Still sealed

I have had one for maybe ten years. I have used it zero times. If I want a job done, I get the proper tool. Fun to play with I guess. It's sitting in a box somewhere now.

Any chance you want to resell one of them?
