This is less likely to stick than foil, it's less likely to rip/shred and leave bits of stuff behind, and it doesn't transmit heat.

Why do people care if parchment paper is white? It's going to turn brown in the oven anyway. I can't believe companies think that's worth putting bleach in the paper. I would spend a little more and go with 100% unbleached.

You'd think unbleached parchment paper and drip coffee filters would cost less that white ones, but no, they charge more for this paper that is not chemically bleached.
