There's an easy fix for that, don't connect it to the internet and use a streaming stick. Of course the streaming manufacturers are extracting the data as well but you have a bit of a "choice" in who takes your info.

Am I the only person that couldn't care less who has my info? There's nothing they can do with it that can harm me in any way. Worst case somebody buys something with my credit card, I get an email notification, and I immediately cancel the card.

Well... of any "Smart" TV that you can buy...this is the dumbest.

This applies to all Vizio TVs even their upper-tier models.
Vizio TVs make for a great theater display meaning if you hook up something to it, it produces a great picture but the OS is the worst in the business and its up-scaling leaves much to be desired.
Years ago, the brought into the market a theater display but it was a few years too soon. Now would be a better time for the product.
