Picked this up the last time around and really like it. Really solid bedroom TV. On Saturday I was watching the 4K HDR stream of the Oklahoma/Baylor game on FOX and it looked really good. I know it's not a true 4K stream, but the picture quality was great. Yes it doesn't hold a candle to my LG C9, but it's also a quarter of the price. Definitely get a sound bar though.
65" 4K for $300 is a good deal no matter how you slice it, but just FYI, it does look like the model number in the BF ad is slightly different from the one for sale right now. The current TV model is E4FAB65R, while the one in the BF ad is E4FAB65R-T. I don't know anything beyond that, but this is probably a BF-specific model and not getting the $650 TV we see for sale right now.
Great price. Found the user guide and specs from Element. The user guide is over 100 pages so you should be able to find what you want to control the TV. You can use your phone instead of the remote it comes with.

Are there anymore credit cards out there where you can buy this ahead of time, then submit a price protection claim showing the lower BF price, and get reimbursed the difference?
No that ship sailed years ago when credit card companies removed the benefit because of situations like this.

I would be cautious about getting a Roku if you use either Youtube TV or Youtube since both apps will be removed by the end of the year.
I prefer using Roku for Netflix and Hulu, if I am watching YouTube I cast it. Thanks for the heads up. It's a shame all that each manufacturer is becoming more and more ecosystem proprietary.

Per roku and google statements, the apps wont be deleted if you already have them installed. You just won't be able to download them anymore.

The Roku/YouTube situation doesn't sound pretty but it doesn't mean they won't strike a new deal down the line either.

No price match, the one selling for $649 today is the E4FAB65R, while the one in the BF ad is E4FAB65R-T.
So does this mean on Nov 21st the same link will start pointing to the "-T" version of this TV?

I hav not read all the posts yet as i read them chronologically/.
I am guessing the "T" means Target.
I am not a big fan of extra letters in almost identical model numbers.
Except for target is already selling it lol. But I mean it could just be so that people can't price match after the fact.

Can any owners speak to glare? If I bought it would be on a wall opposite two large windows.

Picked this up for my gf about a week and a half ago. Really solid tv. 4k 65 inches for $300 is insane. Roku and airplay work great and I was very pleasantly surprised by the sound quality of the tv speakers

Ha, pretty much. I'm sure they tire of loopholes and adding exceptions. Shady grey-market camera/electronics websites killed Amex's, and Walmart clearance killed Discover's.
Mostly it can be attributed to clever and savvy people sharing their ideas via forums like this. So SD shot ourselves in the foot!

I'm always amused by all the usual (slightly snobby and/or insecure) comments about using these in bedrooms, gyms, playrooms, etc.

Hi, my name is Ash78, and I use a budget-priced tv in my family room.

So sorry to hear, we'll do a Kickstarter for you and your family in time for Christmas. 😂

Yeah, me too. People here comment as though they all have Tesla's siting in their garage and 1 million in their bank account.

Get this or the 70" onn?
Is 5" worth $100 more ?
If talking about size alone and not brand/picture quality, I'd say yes. That 5 inches means a lot more area. I would go for the 70" since this is something youll be living with for a long time.

Be wary of brand though. Element and Onn are both on the low end of the low end.
