Lidl has about 160 stores on the East Coast (and 11,000 more world wide) and is much like Aldi with shopping off pallets, directly out of produce boxes, etc but has a much higher end feel. Also they do a lot of baked goods and have more "general merchandise."

No, in this case it is the possessive use of an apostrophe. For instance "That is Tom's jacket" does not become "That is Tom is jacket"

It's Butterball turkey, not Butterdale. Smilie

I got turkey (not a Butterball) for 49 cents/lb at my grocery store. Had the store brand before, was just as good.

"Aldi's is offering ButterBall..."

There is no possessive there. You wouldn't saying "Tom's is offering his jacket for sale." You would say "Tom is offering his jacket for sale."

Same as "Target is offering candy on sale" and not "Target's is offering candy on sale."

Not downing your deal in any way but they are 87 cents per pound at Lidl too.

Just an PSA if anyone is near a Lidl as opposed an Aldi.

I've never heard of Lidl! Is that maybe a west coast store? I'm familiar with most of the ones on the east coast... just never even heard of it Smilie
