Would I be able to buy an iphone 11, sell it on swappa/ebay, and then just pocket the extra 12 months of free service?
For the N200: $420 for the phone and 2 years of 4gb service. Since the usual deal is 3 months free, I'd account for 21 months of service at $15 = $315. That makes the phone $105, which is $239 on Amazon right now. Seems like a reasonably good deal.
Is there something I'm missing? Better deals, or assuming better deal, closed to the 26th/29th?

For multiple lines, look to US Mobile, where you can get 3 phones for the price of 2 on mint ($20/12 GB month + $12/month for 2 extra phones). Not responsible for any fights for using up family air time.
disclaimer: I've used (and liked) Mint, but get zero reception at work (I work in the RF field, it is probably the worst place for reception and verizon towers only work thanks to a relay on the roof). Have not used US Mobile but plan on trying them when my Mint pre-pay runs out.
Edit: deleted the mention of pageplus. They appear to have deleted data on their pre-paid lines. Have to find a new service for mom.
