Vaultek already fixed that last year. Program button is disabled when the box is locked. Vaultek sends replacement parts for those who bought one before February 2020. I have one and love it. For $70, it's a steal.

Speaking of comments, it looks like Costco Reviews on product pages have been down and gone for at least the past two months. I chatted with the company about 5 weeks ago and they said it was "temporary". Looks permanent to me.
