The Legion deal is/was better if only for the fact I received in 2 days. I am not certain of Omen build quality and too soon to say how the Legion will perform, but I will say on the surface, the Legion build quality based on body and all is premium. I was really impressed with and can't use plastic laptops anymore.

Both the CPU and GPU would have to be "last-gen" to justify that price drop.

Both 9th and 10th gen CPUs came out with mobile RTX 20xx GPUs. There was little to no price drop for the 9th gen when the 10th gen CPU machines came out (if there was, I sure as hell couldnt find a single one in 2020)

No. That deal had the same screen. I posted that one and it was even better with perks at work. That being said, this is a solid deal. Perks also has 9%, 4% back elsewhere.

I'm assuming you're talking about the legion 5 pro deal. Is the entire body aluminum on that machine, or just the outer? I can't find a good description.
