Kinda, but mostly no. So the $19 audio interface allows you to take one instrument/microphone into a computer as an audio feed. A mixer works entirely without a computer, and while some contain an audio interface/USB at this price point they often only expose the final mix rather than the individual component feeds (although higher end mixers may expose each connected instrument, as well as the mix).

If your goal is to take a single XLR microphone input into a computer then stick with the $19 audio interface. If your goal is to live mix multiple instruments and feed the resulting mix into a computer/recording device then get a mixer.

I clicked on this looking to up my dough- and batter-making game. Apparently now I'm getting into DJ'ing. Thanks, slickdeals.

OP here. [Edit- wrong stuff here ] All seem to include reverb and compressor effects that make them reasonable choices for karaoke. [end wrong stuff]

Similar mixers seem to be Mackie Mix series, which is generally 50% higher than these sale prices and seems to have lots of reviews stating that they aren't reliable due to the power supply.

Amazon seems to have some stock https://www.amazon.com/Behringer-...B00CTKI5SS at $93
The sold by Amazon listing seems to still be at 179. https://www.amazon.com/Behringer-...VO5Y&psc=1
I wasn't able to find anything about a "premium" model, the Behringer website does not mention one, and I do not think there's any difference between these listings.

I have never used them and have no idea of quality outside of reviews but just ordered the 1204 for a planned home karaoke setup.

Don't think this one has reverb effect. Maybe you were looking at the QX1204USB.

How do you get the 50% off the others? This one comes up as $91 at checkout: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/...r-with-usb $45, $44 off

I'd assume the 1002 is just the first one to hit the "while supplies last" rule. Not sure why it shows Add to Cart still but maybe they only had a certain amount they're willing to sell at that price? Could try contacting support. It was $45 off a few hours ago.

Only X, QX and FX models come with effects.

Lol. You and sd2015 are right. Thanks. Terrible naming and product line design from Behringer. Edited my comment (and probably cancelling my order). Not sure who would want a mixer with no effects at the price it was before discount so not surprised they're having to clear them out.

Which of these would let me listen to music from one source, play audio (eg message alerts, or coworkers talking) from another source, and also let me talk during meetings?

I don't understand half of what I'm looking at. I ordered the 802, hope it's the right choice. Please lmk if I should cancel that order.

Do these things do the same thing as that $19 deal? Would these be better?

Mackie makes a much higher quality product. Behringer is considered fine in terms of audio quality but in no way robust. If this is a device that will be a set it and forget then it's fine. But if you're going to have your hands all over these knobs and faders constantly I wouldn't expect more than a year or 2.

Well I feel goofy saying this since I posted it, but in my opinion, no. Reverb effect is nonnegotiable for karaoke I think. See discussion at http://karaokescene.com/forums/vi...0f4f410520
If you've sounded good in a karaoke box type system and bad at home it's probably more likely to be room effects and lack of reverb at home than mic quality or something, is what I understand.
I'm looking at something like this now. https://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-MG0...J4V5G?th=1 or will move up to the qx02usb which has effects as opposed to the q02 series I posted here.

Understood that that's generally true, but the reviews on the Mackie Mix series are quite bad in my opinion. https://www.amazon.com/Mackie-Mix...ref=sr_1_1
Maybe it's much better when it works but I can't see myself buying any product with decently high likelihood of having a faulty power supply. Risk reward for trying to save 50 bucks isn't there.
