FYI - Eddie Bauer no longer has a lifetime warranty. Everything looks to be only a year now.

I bought this last year and didn't like it at all. The fit ended up being rather baggy and it was VERY thin. Just be aware when you buy this that you're buying basically a shell, not like a winter coat.

And yes—it did smell very bad.

Looks like the women's jacket is already $39.99 on the EB site, no code needed. It won't accept the CIRRUSDEAL code for the men's, it is already discounted to $59.99.

Hmmm. If it's the same one they've had at Costco, it literally got me to the (first) peak of Kilimanjaro in Jan. Sure, I had 4-5 layers on underneath and ended up swapping my much thicker Marmot puffer on since we summited an hr before sunrise, but this EB really surprised me being so thin as such a versatile jacket!

No smell I noticed fwiw, but mine had likely aired out on display for some time.

Has anyone else had problems placing their order? I tried multiple browsers and devices with no luck. Then I actually called and tried to place the order over the phone. They said my card is failing, but I have tried 3 different cards at 3 different banks... which are working everywhere else. Guess I just wasn't destined to buy this jacket. :-)

I no longer buy from Eddie Bauer once they got rid of their lifetime warranty. Their stuff just isn't what it used to be and has always been a pain to return something that fell apart.
