This is the best Black Friday 2021 deal I've seen yet. Sadly, I'm holding out for the UMC404HD with four pre-amps.

tons of Behringer deals. These are decent units. I have the UMC404hd. It works well. I had an issue for a while with it, but I concluded that it was probably an issue with the USB on my old computer. Has been great for me since I built a new one a couple of years ago.

Edit: IMO, you'd be so much better off getting a setup like this than getting a usb mic, unless you just need the simplicity.

You can get the C-1 mic by itself for $19 during this deal. That makes it a good option if you are buying one of the other mixers or audio interfaces that's on sale, and don't need the headphones.

Will this power a microphone? I'm trying to work on a podcast and was wondering if this would be a good option.

Nice deal, and XLR mics have such flexibility. Have a Behringer Xenyx UFX1204 that I picked up during a sale for $99 years ago, love the product.

Saw a single mic XLR for $49 on same site, for those not needing a second input. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/...ing-bundle

Earlier this year I bought a Scarlett 2i2 Gen 3 Studio bundle for low effort gameplay recording, for about $299. Is this on par with that bundle? I'm asking because my wife takes recording seriously and I want to get her a setup of her own for recording scary stories without spending another $300.

On par, no. Good enough, yes. The 2i2 is good interface, although overpriced. This behringer is a lower tier unit although they do perform quite well for the price. The mic is pretty mediocre heading to bad though. Better than cheap USB microphones but far from good.

I'd say buy this bundle, see if the mic is up to what she needs, and then upgrade the mic if not. The thing is, this is a good deal for the interface alone. So even if you use the headphones as a throwaway pair and you upgrade the mic, you're still good.

For your/her purposes, this is a perfect setup for her. It includes the cables as well. (XLR and USB)
