it was my favorite keyboard to use in bed until I got the k830. But overall I find the k400 plus really good to use. Trackpad isnt as bad as reviews make it out to be.
Aside from that, I have always loved it. it's taken a beating from my boyfriend (drops and spills) and still works great. The mouse button on the left side is super useful, too. Though, I only use it to navigate my PC, from my couch. Not to do anything really intensive with it.
Considering the jump in price to the K830, I'd buy this over that any day of the week.
Now the K400 is trash, imo. The K400+ is awesome.

Its great to just have one device to use with my plex server. no need to keep track of both the mouse and keyboard.
Also great for Raspberry Pi setup.
